The goal of the Office of the Town Clerk is to provide service to the public in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Our office is located in Town Hall, 100 E. Main St. and maintains the municipal records as mandated by state statue. All activities relating to municipal and special elections are the responsibility of this office.

Copies of ordinances, resolutions, and other data are available by request to the general public.

The Office of the Town Clerk constantly strives to improve the quality of service lawfully and through sound management practices. Our staff members are ever mindful of providing the public with equal and efficient service to everyone. Their high standards of service merit public confidence in our town.

Marriage Licenses

A marriage license can be obtained at any courthouse in the state of New Mexico for a $25.00 fee.  There is no waiting period and a blood test is not required.  The license must be filed after the ceremony at the same courthouse where it was obtained.
