The Red River Marshal's Office employs officers that are committed to the fulfillment of department goals. To put it simply, "We help people and protect the community". We receive technical training in all aspects of law enforcement and are capable of handling any infraction of the law. According to marshal Jerry Hogrefe Public Safety is a large arena that requires every discipline (police, fire and rescue) to work together to offer the best service possible. Marshal Hogrefe has been with the Marshal's Office nearly 20 years and not only maintains his law enforcement certification, but is also a volunteer firefighter and EMT with over 20 years of service.

The Marshals are friendly, professional, outgoing in the community, and always willing to answer questions or help when asked or called upon. We have great pride in what we do and how we do it. Communications Center

A division of the Red River Marshal's Office, the Communication Center has state-of-the-art communication equipment, a highly technical enhanced 911 system, and communication specialist that are available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our newly remodeled Communication Center is located at 100 E. Main Street in Town Hall. Since the sophisticated upgrade in 1998, the Red River Dispatch has expanded their coverage to many surrounding agencies, including having communications and contractual responsibilities with area police departments, fire departments, ambulances, and search and rescue teams.

Our communications specialist are dedicated and committed to providing that crucial link between those who are in need of assistance and those who provide assistance.
